Involvement in Irish Schools Debating Team

While competition represents the highest level at which students can represent their school, Ronan Daly also has the honour of representing his country along with 4 other students from schools around the country at the World Schools Debating Championships in Bali this August after a trials process which occurred in November of last year. The team trains regularly. Think of the international schools mace like the Club All Ireland and the World Schools Debating Championships as the Intercounty All Ireland. Both are big deals in their own worlds, but you represent in a different capacity.
